The record-setting procedure was performed on veteran actor Surendra Pal Singh, known for his roles in Shaktimaan and Mahabharat. The transplant, initiated on May 29, 2025, involved a total of 11,423 grafts completed over a single comprehensive sitting spanning two weeks. The case is being regarded as one of the most extensive hair restoration procedures ever performed.

The official record presentation ceremony was held at Eugenix Hair Sciences’ Mumbai clinic on April 25, 2026, in the presence of adjudicating officials from the World Records Book of India.

Expressing his experience, Surendra Pal Singh said, “For me, this was not just about hair, it was about feeling like myself again. I’ve seen a real change in how people respond to me; many even say that they see the younger Surendra Pal again. My advice is simple—if you decide to go ahead, do it once but do it right. Choose a qualified doctor who prioritizes safety, care, and long-term results.”

Dr. Pradeep Sethi, Co-founder and Chairman of Eugenix Hair Sciences, stated that the achievement reflects a major step forward in the science and scalability of modern hair restoration. “Our focus has always been on pushing clinical boundaries responsibly through precision techniques and advanced donor management. This recognition highlights India’s growing leadership in global medical innovation,” he said.

Dr. Arika Bansal, Co-founder of Eugenix Hair Sciences, emphasized the complexity of high-volume procedures. “Such cases require meticulous planning, disciplined execution, and continuous focus on patient comfort. Our approach remains deeply patient-centric, ensuring long-term outcomes and donor preservation,” she noted.

Lakshay Deep Mishra, Senior Adjudicator and Speaker Representative from the World Records Book of India, added, “After thorough verification and on-ground evaluation, we are pleased to recognize this achievement of 11,423 grafts in a single sitting. It sets a new benchmark in medical precision and innovation on a global scale.”

With this recognition, Eugenix Hair Sciences strengthens its position as a leader in advanced hair restoration and reinforces India’s presence in global medical excellence.
