June 10: ShepHertz, the applied AI platform company behind AgentAnywhere, wAnywhere, BrowseAnywhere, and TalentAnywhere, has announced the appointment of Anuraag Kochhar as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Bringing nearly three decades of global experience across software engineering, cloud architecture, enterprise AI, data science, and business leadership, Anuraag will spearhead the company's technology strategy, product innovation, platform engineering, and AI-led transformation initiatives as ShepHertz continues to expand its sovereign AI and workforce intelligence platforms across global markets and regulated industrie
Anuraag joins ShepHertz with a distinguished track record spanning technology leadership, enterprise transformation, and business strategy across India, the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia. His career began in software engineering, where he developed embedded systems and cryptographic solutions for smart cards, mobile devices, and set-top boxes at leading organisations including Motorola, Schlumberger, and STG. During this period, he worked extensively across international markets and was nominated to Motorola's prestigious Business Leadership Development Programme, gaining early exposure to business and commercial functions that would later shape his executive leadership journey.
Over the years, Anuraag transitioned into enterprise technology and business leadership roles, holding senior positions at Teleste in Finland and SMT Electronic Technology in Taiwan, where he established legal entities, managed country operations, and worked closely with government and regulatory bodies, including India's Bureau of Indian Standards. More recently, he has led innovation initiatives across cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data science, serving in CTO and Chief Data Officer positions at organisations such as Bizburd and Webenza while also co-founding healthcare technology ventures. He holds an Executive General Management Programme qualification from IIM Bangalore and is a Certified Independent Director from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
Commenting on his appointment, Anuraag Kochhar, Chief Technology Officer, ShepHertz, said,
"ShepHertz is among the few companies that have been building real, production-grade AI infrastructure long before AI became a mainstream conversation. What excites me most is the company's focus on solving practical enterprise challenges through technology that is secure, measurable, and deployable at scale. AgentAnywhere addresses a challenge I have encountered throughout my career—bridging the gap between the promise of AI and what regulated enterprises can confidently deploy. Its sovereign architecture, compliance-first design, and outcome-driven approach create a powerful foundation for the future of enterprise AI. I am equally excited by the opportunities presented by wAnywhere and TalentAnywhere, which address the growing complexities of managing and hiring distributed workforces globally. I look forward to working closely with Siddhartha and the team as we take these platforms into their next phase of innovation and growth."
Welcoming Anuraag to the leadership team, Siddhartha Chandurkar, Founder and CEO of ShepHertz, said,
"We've spent more than a decade earning trust in AI that organisations can truly rely on and apply to solve real-world problems. The next phase of our journey is about delivering that trust at far greater scale and speed globally. Anuraag brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise, business acumen, and global leadership experience that makes him the ideal person to help drive that vision forward. I am confident that some of the most defining chapters of the ShepHertz story are still ahead of us, and Anuraag will play a pivotal role in shaping them."
In his new role, Anuraag will lead ShepHertz's technology vision and engineering roadmap, with a focus on accelerating product innovation, strengthening platform scalability, advancing enterprise AI capabilities, and enhancing the company's proprietary AI-Infused SDLC (AILC) framework. He will also play a pivotal role in expanding the capabilities of AgentAnywhere, ShepHertz's sovereign-deployable agentic AI platform, while supporting the continued growth of workforce intelligence solutions such as wAnywhere, BrowseAnywhere, and TalentAnywhere.
The appointment comes at a significant stage in ShepHertz's growth journey as organisations worldwide seek trusted and sovereign AI solutions that can be deployed securely within their own governance frameworks. Through its portfolio of applied AI platforms, the company is enabling enterprises, governments, financial institutions, healthcare providers, and global businesses to harness AI while maintaining control over security, compliance, and operational outcomes. With more than 80,000 registered customers across 150 countries and over 500 billion API calls processed globally, ShepHertz continues to strengthen its position as a trusted provider of enterprise AI infrastructure and workforce intelligence solutions.
