Oct 29, 2026: Samsung Electronics has been ranked No. 5 globally with a brand value of USD 105.2 billion in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2026, marking its seventh consecutive year among the world’s five most valuable brands. Samsung is the only Asia-based company to maintain this distinction every year since 2020.
The ranking reflects Samsung’s continued focus on technological innovation, AI competitiveness and customer-centric experiences. Its position among the global top five has been supported by record earnings, strategic investments in AI semiconductors and the expansion of connected AI experiences across its product portfolio.
Interbrand identified three key factors contributing to Samsung’s brand competitiveness:
- Record earnings supported by focused investments in AI semiconductors
- Strengthened AI competitiveness across the Device eXperience (DX) Division
- A consistent, customer-centric brand strategy under the “One Samsung” approach
Samsung’s Device Solutions (DS) Division continued to expand the supply of high-value memory products to meet growing demand for AI technologies. The company also strengthened its semiconductor leadership with the industry’s first mass production and commercial shipment of HBM4.
In its DX Division, Samsung continued to bring personalized AI experiences and seamless connectivity to consumers through its mobile devices, televisions and home appliances. These innovations are designed to make everyday experiences more convenient and connected.
Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Z Fold8 in 2026, marking the eighth generation of its Galaxy foldable series. Featuring a new form factor and a 4:3 display aspect ratio, the device resonated with younger consumers while expanding its appeal across generations.
Interbrand’s annual Best Global Brands ranking assesses companies based on financial performance and outlook, the influence of their brands on purchasing decisions and overall brand competitiveness. Its evaluation considers strategy, empathy, differentiation, customer engagement, consistency and trust.
