Patancheru Bids a Grand Farewell to Lord Ganesha: Team Rudra Creates a Historic Record with INR 1,36,667 Laddu Auction

Sangareddy, Patancheru  September 26, 2026: The twin towns of Patancheru witnessed a spectacular and emotionally charged conclusion to the Ganesha Navratri festival as the #Team Rudra Youth Association hosted a grand Ganesha Shobhayatra (farewell procession) and a historic laddu auction. Children led the spiritual procession, reverently carrying the deities as hundreds of devotees joined the celebration.

 

The grand event was formally set in motion under the leadership of Smt. Kollola Sujata (DISHA Committee Member & BJP District Mahila Morcha Leader) and Korvi Sai Chandu Mudhiraj (President, Team Rudra Youth Association, Patancheru).

 

 

This year’s laddu auction set a new benchmark for the region, raising a collective staggering total of ₹1,36,667/- across three laddus. The bidding details are as follows:

 

Following the conclusion of the ritualistic prayers and the intense bidding war, the Shobhayatra filled the streets of Patancheru with festive fervour. The procession stood out as a major attraction, featuring brilliant electrical lighting displays, energetic youth dances, and traditional Bathukamma songs performed by local women. Amidst resonant chants of "Jai Bolo Ganesh Maharaj Ki Jai", the majestic idol of Lord Ganesha was safely immersed in Sai Cheruvu.

 

 

Reflecting on the success of the event, Team Rudra President Korvi Sai Chandu Mudhiraj emphasized the deep bond of brotherhood driving their 30-member core committee. "For the past 12 years, our bond has transcended all differences. We are all one. Watching our diverse community come together under one slogan—Jai Bolo Ganesh Maharaj Ki Jai—is a true reflection of the independent spirit of our nation," he stated.

 

 

The organizers extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Telangana, the Telangana Police Department, and the GHMC staff. Devotees and organizers specially appreciated the police personnel who worked tirelessly on the ground to maintain law, order, and traffic control, ensuring a completely peaceful immersion process.
