Mankind Pharma Signs Exclusive In-Licensing Deal for Insulin Degludec and Degludec + Aspart in India

New Delhi, 20th Aug 20 : Mankind Pharma Limited, one of India’s pharmaceutical companies, has entered into an exclusive in-licensing and marketing agreement with Chongqing Chenan Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., China, for the commercialisation of two insulin analogues, Insulin Degludec and Insulin Degludec + Aspart Combination, in India.

The partnership marks another significant step in Mankind Pharma’s strategy to strengthen its presence in diabetes care and broaden its portfolio of advanced injectable therapies. The addition of these products will further enhance, Mankind Pharma’s position in the injectable diabetes segment, contributing to a more comprehensive portfolio and reinforcing its commitment to addressing the evolving needs of patients.

 The latest partnership further reinforces the company’s commitment to expanding its diabetes portfolio and bringing a broader range of treatment options to patients in India.
