Singapore / Mumbai, Sep 10: Eleganz Interiors Limited, one of India's most established workspace design and build organisations, has announced the successful delivery of a landmark R&D and Innovation Campus in Singapore for a leading Korean automotive group. The facility has been envisioned as an environment purpose built for research, engineering and innovation, with the future of mobility at its core.

The delivery lands at a telling moment for both the city and the sector. Singapore is doubling down on its position as one of the world's foremost innovation economies, and as per the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore, the country will invest S$37 billion in research and development over the next five years under its Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2030 plan, building on the S$28 billion committed under RIE2025. The automotive industry, meanwhile, is in the middle of its biggest reinvention in a century, with global research and development spending on automobiles and transport reaching 146 billion euros in 2023, as per the European Commission's Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard. The new campus sits precisely at the intersection of these two currents, a physical home for the research that will decide how the world moves next.
R&D and innovation environments are among the most demanding categories in workplace delivery. They call for precision engineering, seamless coordination across disciplines and a deep understanding of how physical space accelerates research, experimentation and collaboration. The Singapore campus reflects Eleganz Interiors Limited's integrated Design and Build approach, which brings strategy, design, engineering, procurement and execution under a single accountable framework, giving clients certainty across timelines, quality and cost.
Speaking on the delivery, Sammeer Pakvasa, Managing Director and CEO, Eleganz Interiors Limited, said,
“Singapore has been a true test of whether an operating model built in India can travel intact to one of the world's most sophisticated markets. An Indian brand does not walk into a global market with borrowed trust. Credibility abroad has to be earned project by project, on the strength of consistent delivery. This campus is that proof. To be entrusted with an environment where the future of mobility will be imagined and engineered is a responsibility we take great pride in, and it strengthens our conviction as we enter our fourth decade.”
The delivery reinforces Eleganz Interiors Limited's international footprint, with Singapore among its seven key offices alongside Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, NCR and Pune. Founded in 1988, the company has delivered more than 1,000 projects and over 30 million square feet of built space across 35 plus cities, serving leading Indian and global organisations across corporate, BFSI, healthcare, hospitality and commercial sectors.
As the company approaches its fourth decade, it continues to strengthen its design-led capabilities, sustainable delivery practices, technology-driven operations, and technology-enabled project execution. Its 360° approach extends across the organisation—from people, administration and infrastructure to digital systems, factory operations and site execution, and the advanced tools and processes that power its design studio. This integrated ecosystem brings together people, processes, technology, design and execution from the inside out, enhancing coordination, efficiency, transparency and delivery certainty. The company is also a founding member of the Indian Green Building Council, with extensive experience across LEED- and WELL-oriented principles.
