Pune,Oct 22: AFC Furniture Solutions, country’s leading modular furniture solutions company, is eyeing a 30 percent growth in its Pune business in FY 2026-27. The company expects growth from the city's expanding Global Capability Centres, IT/ITeS and managed workspace sectors.

Last year, the company prioritised focus on large-volume corporate fit-outs, faster project execution and modular furniture solutions for businesses centered around Hinjewadi, Kharadi, Baner-Balewadi and other commercial hubs in and around Pune.
AFC’s growth is timed with Pune’s own fast paced expansion as the city continues to attract multinational technology companies, financial services firms and engineering-led GCCs. The city recorded approximately 10.8 million sq. ft. of office leasing in 2025, marking a 36% year-on-year increase. GCCs accounted for approximately 65% of office leasing demand during Q3 2026, highlighting the scale of multinational occupier activity.
Said Maanoj Tomar, Founder, AFC Furniture Solutions,
"Pune is witnessing significant office expansion, particularly from GCCs and technology companies, who are also under pressure to make their spaces operational quickly. That’s where we come in, with a clear priority to strengthen execution, reduce installation timelines and develop furniture systems that grow with the business. We also see considerable potential in managed offices, where flexibility and cost efficiency are equally important."
AFC is helping clients set up and expand offices without lengthy fit-out cycles, with an increased focus on standardised modular workstations, ergonomic seating and collaborative furniture that are installed quickly, reconfigured and scaled as occupancy changes.
Managed office operators are AFC’s priority as businesses increasingly seek ready-to-occupy offices and flexible leasing arrangements. These workspace providers need furniture systems that can accommodate different tenants without extensive redesign or replacement. AFC is strengthening partnerships with operators and developers to serve this demand. The company is targeting automotive technology, engineering and R&D businesses, where workplaces increasingly need to accommodate software teams, product development functions and collaborative project environments.
“We strengthened our local project coordination, design consultancy relationships and installation capabilities to support large assignments across Pune's commercial corridors. The emphasis is on consistent quality, quicker turnaround and workplace solutions that optimise office investments for corporates,” added Tomar.
The company is leveraging its 4 lakh sq. ft. facility with a national manufacturing capacity of 18,000 workstations and ergonomic seating systems per month.
With GCC expansion and flexible workspace demand driving the next phase of Pune's office market, AFC aims to increase its share of large corporate and managed office projects while building stronger execution capabilities in the region.
