Artist Rinku Choudhary’s solo exhibition, A Soliloquist’s Journal, presented by Art Incept and curated by Prima Kurien, will be held from September 4 to 9, 2026, at Shridharani Gallery, Tansen Marg, New Delhi. The exhibition brings together a body of paintings that explores memory, domesticity, identity and the quiet repetition of emotions that shape everyday life.

“Working primarily across canvas and paper, Rinku creates layered compositions through mediums that build, obscure and disrupt surfaces. Rather than simply depicting domestic interiors, her paintings evoke the psychological spaces within them—where routine, silence, memory and emotion intersect. Her recurring separation of male and female figures across different compositions subtly points to questions of gender, dominance, identity and the suppression of the inner self”, says Gayatri Singh, Founder, the Art Incept

“Rinku’s work ultimately presents a quiet yet compelling form of contemporary feminism. Rather than making overt social statements, she allows the structures of domestic life to speak through gesture, composition, colour and absence. Her paintings invite viewers to look beyond the familiar and recognise the emotions, memories and silences that exist beneath the surface of everyday life”, adds Curator Prima Kurien.
